Queenstown residents are being offered an opportunity to explore their own spectacular backyard, while also helping to support local families this festive season.
Southern Discoveries, a premium Queenstown and Milford Sound tourism operator, is launching a range of Locals Deals, with up to 75 per cent savings on some of their most popular experiences in the lead-up to Christmas.
Between November 25 and December 10 (inclusive), Queenstown residents can book these special deals, with a portion of the proceeds being donated to local charity, Happiness House.

As Queenstown locals enjoy rediscovering the beauty of their hometown and its surrounds, they will also be helping to support more than 40 local families through Happiness House.
Southern Discoveries will be donating part of the Locals Deals proceeds to the community support centre, who are working to brighten Christmas for families through the provision of gifts, vouchers and food.
The Locals Deals promotion also coincides with the relaunch of Southern Discoveries Locals Discovery Card, a programme that gives residents the chance to enjoy the best experiences the region has to offer all year round.
The Locals Discovery Card provides discounts with Southern Discoveries, KJet and Milford Sound Lodge, including unlimited Spirit of Queenstown Scenic Cruises and Milford Sound Nature Cruises, as well as 50 per cent off all other Southern Discoveries and KJet experiences.
These cards can be snapped up during the Locals Deals promotion at 10 per cent off the regular price of $79 for adults and $39 for children.
