Do I need a child car seat for my child on the coach?

In accordance with New Zealand Law, all infants and children aged under 7 years must be correctly secured in an approved child seat while travelling in any Southern Discoveries coach. If you need to hire an approved child seat, we recommend you contact Tots on Tour on +64 3 442 0409.

What is included in the Coach Cruise Fly with Air Milford?

The package includes a scenic coach ride to Milford Sound, a nature cruise through the fiord, and a return flight to Queenstown, weather dependant.

How long does the entire trip take?

The coach ride from Queenstown to Milford Sound takes about 5 hours, the cruise is up to 2 hours, and the return flight is approximately 35 minutes. The total trip duration is up to 8 hours.

What happens if the weather is bad on the day of my trip?

Weather conditions can affect the flight portion of the trip. Your Coach driver will liaise with Air Milford for the status of the flight. If the weather does not permit the flight portion, there will be space for you to return on the coach.

Is the trip suitable for children and infants?

Yes, the trip is suitable for children and infants. There are specific pricing options for children aged 3-14 years old, and infants under 2 years old can join for free if they weigh under 15kg/33lb

Is lunch included on a Coach Cruise Fly?

You can select to include a lunch option of either the To ‘To Kai’ or Picnic lunch at time of booking.
