A private dining experience at Mt Nicholas High Country Farm is anticipated to be a top choice at the Queenstown Supper Club. The fundraising event for Ronald McDonald House South Island sees guests whisked away to one of 27 mystery dining destinations with every cent raised going directly to support free accommodation for families who must travel to Christchurch or Invercargill for their child’s medical treatment.
Ronald McDonald House South Island’s CEO Mandy Kennedy says the Mt Nicholas dining experience sponsored by local tourism operator Southern Discoveries is a fantastic partnership. “So far this year our facilities have supported over 600 families with a child in hospital, and many of these families come from the Queenstown-Lakes community. With this in mind, it is fantastic to partner with an organisation like Southern Discoveries who share our passion for supporting local families,” says Kennedy.
Southern Discoveries Queenstown operations manager, Bryony Dalby-Ball, says the company is thrilled to be involved with the fundraiser. “The organisers have hinted that the Mt Nicholas dining experience is likely to be a top pick on the night so we are excited to host our mystery guests and support this wonderful cause.”
