Our NEW Milford Discovery Centre has just had it's 29 information panels installed. Experience the history of Milford, the building of the Homer Tunnel, Milford Track building, local Maori history and early European settlement through imagery, video and information. Then descend 10m underwater to view the unique sealife of Milford Sound. The only floating observatory in New Zealand, view the natural environment of rare black coral and colourful fish - all just centimetres away.
Only $29 for adults $15 for children when you book a Southern Discoveries Cruise. Every passenger will recieve a FREE Kiwi Snack Lunch (sandwiches, biscuits, cheese, fruit and a warming cup of hot soup!).

Milford Sound is an experience for the whole family. Why not take a day trip and explore Fiordland National Park and spectacular Milford Sound. All of our Scenic and Encounter Nature cruises are free for children 4-14 years of age during our New Zealand school holidays. You can also add on the Milford Discovery Centre (free for children) which is educational, unique and fun and perfect for entertaining.
* Children go free in New Zealand school holidays. Children must be accompanied by a full fare paying adult. Not valid in conjunction with any other offer. Child age 4-14yrs inclusive. Under 4 travel free. Please note the Milford Discovery Centre is an add on to your cruise so you will be dropped off by one cruise boat and will complete the last five minutes of the cruise on a different boat, please allow an additional 1/2 hour.
