There are a number of ways to get to Milford Sound – by coach, air or car.

Journey by coach and you can relax, sit back and take in the magnificent views along the way as your driver provides a lively commentary on the history, flora and fauna of the National Park, with plenty of stops for photos and short walks. By car you can set your own pace and choose when and where to stop on New Zealand's most picturesque drive. By air enjoy the very best view of Milford Sound and the Southern Alps as you fly into (or out of) this breathtaking fiord.
